Box Furnace, Electric Lift Door
An electric-lift-door box furnace for annealing, quenching and tempering of steel and alloy steel, where a full-width opening speeds up loading between heats.
Lift-Door Box Furnace
The RX3-45-10 is the hardening workhorse of the range: a box furnace for annealing, quenching and tempering of steel and alloy steel, with a working temperature up to 1,000 °C.
The door is raised and lowered by an electric drive instead of by hand. That matters in production, where the same operator may make dozens of door cycles a day — the door runs fully clear of the opening and stops on limit switches at both ends.
Heating elements are mounted on ceramic supports around the chamber. Like every model we supply, the chamber, power and voltage can be re-specified for your process; the RX3-45-10 is our standard reference build.

What you are buying
Electric lift door
A motorised door opens the full face of the chamber, so a full load goes in or out in one lift instead of two people holding a hot door.
Up to 1,000 °C for hardening
High-temperature elements on ceramic supports take the furnace to hardening and normalising temperatures with the same shell as our tempering units.
Limit switches and safety chain
The door drive and heating circuit are interlocked, and the door travels between mechanical end stops rather than depending on the operator.
±1 °C PID control
Digital PID control with over-temperature protection, and a cabinet wired and labelled to the supplied schematic.
