Roller-Hearth Furnace
A continuous roller-hearth line for quenching and tempering in volume: parts travel through the heated chamber on driven rollers, so cycle time is set by line speed rather than door-to-door handling.
Roller-Hearth Furnace
When the volume is high enough that door-to-door handling becomes the bottleneck, the furnace stops being a box and becomes a line. Our roller-hearth furnace moves workpieces through the heated chamber on driven rollers, with the line speed setting the cycle.
A roller-hearth line is a long, shallow chamber for flat and small-section parts, typically followed by a quench and a tempering stage.
These lines are integrated into a customer's plant, so the specification is developed with you: heating zones, roller pitch, drive speed, loading and unloading tables, and the handover between furnace and quench. We build the furnace; you tell us what has to come out the end.

What you are buying
Throughput instead of batches
Parts move continuously, so output is a function of line speed rather than of how fast a door can be opened and closed.
Zoned temperature control
The chamber is split into zones along its length so the heating curve can follow the process rather than averaging it out.
Built into your line
Roller pitch, drive speed, loading tables and the quench interface are specified around the parts you run.
Shipped as a line
Built and assembled in our workshop, tested, then broken down into transport sections — see the loading videos below.
Specification
Configuration, dimensions and power are set per project.
Loading a line for export.
Filmed in our workshop while the line was being packed — the same process every furnace goes through before it ships.
